EFOY fuel cell electric scooterThe 65 Watt fuel cell needs about 67 hours to make from 5 litre methanol 4,5 kWh electric power. Are 4,5 kWh enough for 110 or for 500 km? | ||
The policy light at day needs alone 50 Watt for the light, measured at the 48 V side at my E-Max S. So the fuel cell can contribute at switched on light only 15 Watt for the propulsion.
Charge speed means how much range can be recharged per hour charge time. Based on 4 kWh/100km consumption obtain the 2 400 Watt chargers from my E-Max S 20 km per hour. The 65 Watt fuel cell only 1.625 km. So nothing for the commuter without plug at the work place, because after 8 hours are only 13km range recharged.
The 4,5 kWh from 5 litre methanol are listed in the technical data from EFOY. But how shoule an electric scooter go 500 km with 4,5 kWh? Even with the 2 kWh from the batteries added, that, I can not imagine to drive 500 km with 6,5 kWh. |
