The chest below the helmet locker is designed for 3 of 4 pieces 38 Ah Silicon sealed lead acid batteries. There is much place left beside the 50 Ah 48 V lithium polymer battery.

Seperate plugs for charging and discharging. In the box is the BMS battery management system built in. A little bit higher box could be equipped with 40Ah cells.

In the grey cable are 28 wires, from each cell 2, to the battery controller which is located in the frot part of the scooter just after the fron wheel.

14 pieces 90 Ah cells from Thundersky make 4.5 kWh capacity and over 160km range. That's enough to be the electric scooter with the biggest capacity on the EICMA 2006.
