40 years ago, the Mercedes Diesel taxicabs had been a legend in consumption compared to gasoline cars. Internal combustion engine is not equal to internal combustion engine, a Diesel is more efficient with the fuel than a gasoline engine.

Also battery is not equal battery. Between lead battery and lithium battery is a difference in efficiency. The higher weight of the E-Max 110S can only be responsible for 1 to 1,5 kWh higher consumption on 100km. The rest might be the difference at the batteries.

So we wait full of suspense for the first test of the new E-Max generation with lithium batteries.
