Biomass evaluation

Because of new knowledge about the future energy situation, the evaluation of plant sorts for the earning of energy has to be recalculated.

Not oil but carbon counts

Until now, a plat was found better when it was possible to press more vegetable oil out. But when the photovoltaic world market increases to more than 100 W peak per year and human, refinement of the biomass by hydrogen from electrolysis will be very interesting.

The plants will not be seen not any more as energy source, but as carbon source. Carbon to convert hydrogen into more easy to transport Methan oder Methanol.

Maybe other plants

It is just right now difficult to find data around this theme. Dry measure yield per ha, how much vegetable oil can be pressed out, are easy to find data. But the question how much yield in carbon is difficult to answer.

Maybe there are different plants with more yield in carbon, than what we prefer now for biomass cultivation.
