Here an outside similar model with a 1500 Watt engine. The E-Max S has to compare 2200 Watt and 3850 Watt with power button.

The vendor thought at such a weak engine are half the batteries enough.

A look over the rear wheel shows, behind the battery box is no further place for batteries.
