Sunflowers oil: Pack the sun into the tank

A farmer needs about 10% of his cultivation surface in order to have enough fuel for his tractor. A ha brings about 1000 liters sunflower oil per year in central Europe.

According to tilled fruit 80 to 130 liters per ha are used at the field work.

This is, by the way, clearly less than one earlier for horses and oxen has used. In the age of pull oxen and horses one has calculated 25% of the agricultural surface to the care of the "traction engines".
