Gasoline station in San Marino

Absolut not for a tourism country are the gasoline stations after 8 pm. Only Italian bankomat cards. All written only in Italian

Courage born of despire

The 3rd gasoline station. Everywhere the same. Instructions only in Italian language. My Bankomat card is not accepted because not Italian. Credit cards also do not work. I try to develop some ideas, what could be written in the Italian instruction. I insert desperate 20.-EUR.

But no Diesel comes from the choosen punping station. 20.-EUR disappeared and no Diesel. After some minutes, I realize that the 20.-EUR had appeared on the display of an other pumping station. I change and start to refuel my car. After 8 liters is all finished. 5 minutes time limit exhausted.

In a main tourist area should an English speaking tourist at least have a fair chace to refuel his car.
